Welcome to ExpenTra! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ExpenTra mobile application ("App"), provided by ExpenTra LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ExpenTra, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and we will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of the App
ExpenTra is a mobile application designed to help users track their expenses, store digital copies of receipts, and manage financial records. Features include but are not limited to expense categorization, receipt scanning, and report generation. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features at our discretion.

User Accounts

Registration: To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account by providing accurate and complete information, such as your email address and a password.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@expentra.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the App or other users.

License to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App or its underlying technology.

User Content

  • Receipts and Data: You may upload receipts, expense details, and other content ("User Content") to the App. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process it to provide and improve the App's services.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content. Do not upload content that is fraudulent, unlawful, or infringes on third-party rights.

Privacy
Your use of ExpenTra is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Fees and Payment

  • Fees: Payments are non-refundable except as required by law or specified in our refund policy.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes related to your use of paid features.

2. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property within the App (excluding User Content) are owned by ExpenTra LLC or our licensors. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or security.
  • Share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.

4. Disclaimers

  • As-Is Basis: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate expense tracking and receipt management tools, we are not responsible for errors in your data or calculations based on your input.

5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExpenTra LLC, its affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, profits, or financial losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the preceding 12 months.

6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ExpenTra LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

7. Termination

  • By You: You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
  • By Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion, with or without notice, for violating these Terms or for any other reason.
